Viewing a property sheet is a convenient and quick way to display page properties or item attributes. You can access the property sheet for information purposes or to troubleshoot a problem.

Page property sheet

A page property sheet provides a quick way to view a page's properties. To display the Property Sheet link on a page you need to add a Portal Smart Link of type "property sheet" to a region on the page.

The following is an example of a page property sheet:

Item property sheet

You can display an item property sheet by clicking Property Sheet next to the item in the page area. An item property sheet provides a quick way to view an item's attributes. You can configure OracleAS Portal so that all items display the Property Sheet icon Property Sheet. To display the icon you need to include the Property Sheet attribute in the page region.
